Social Worker for the Financial Support Unit

The mission of the Education and Labor Market Administration is to enhance individuals' opportunities to find work and become self-sufficient through education, practice, and employment.

The Labor Market and Support department is responsible for planning, implementing, and coordinating the municipality's labor market initiatives as well as processing financial assistance applications. The overarching mission is to support residents in achieving self-sufficiency and being active participants in society.

We are now looking for one to two new temporary employees for the Financial Support Unit at the Education and Labor Market Administration in Halmstad Municipality.

Your Role

As a social worker, your main responsibilities will include processing applications for financial assistance and collaborating with other stakeholders to strengthen the individual's ability to achieve self-sufficiency.

Your Experience

We are looking for candidates with a degree in social work or equivalent education (behavioral science degree and social law). Previous experience in financial assistance/support is considered a significant advantage.
